Bec is a registered Educational and Developmental psychologist from Melbourne, Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science, Diploma of Education (Secondary), and a Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental). She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is a committee member of the Victorian branch of the APS College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists. Bec is also a registered supervisor and enjoys supervising provisional psychologists, registrars, and peers.
Bec has over ten years’ experience working in schools and public mental health services (including the Royal Children’s Hospital and headspace) providing individual and group therapy, conducting assessments, and working with a range of stakeholders including allied health professionals, and schools. In these roles she has worked with individuals experiencing a range of challenges, including mood and anxiety disorders, grief, stress, developmental concerns, parenting, and learning difficulties. Prior to becoming a psychologist, Bec was a secondary school teacher.
In her work with clients, Bec takes a holistic, strengths-based and client-centred approach, drawing on a number of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her approach to assessment and therapy is to work alongside clients to empower them to develop strategies, overcome obstacles, and facilitate positive change. She brings a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental approach to her work, and is collaborative and respectful in all interactions and communication.

Declan Bourke

Dr Declan Bourke is a clinical psychologist who has 8 years’ experience providing assessment services and therapeutic support across the lifespan, with a focus on supporting young people and their families. He holds a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical), and a Bachelor of Behavioural Neuroscience (Psychology Honours). He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and is a Board-Approved Supervisor, supervising provisional psychologists and Clinical Psychology registrars. He also works part-time as a lecturer, teaching postgraduate level psychology courses.
Declan has worked in multiple clinical and research roles within Victoria’s public health system, including The Royal Children’s Hospital and Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. He also has experience working in public and independent primary school contexts. In these roles, he has built experience supporting individuals and families navigate a range of challenges, including: mood and anxiety difficulties; parenting skills and difficulties; emotion regulation challenges and behavioural concerns; and difficulties navigating social relationships. He uses a neuro-affirming approach to help individuals navigate Autism and ADHD-related challenges. He also has experience offering a range of assessment services, including cognitive/intellectual assessments, educational assessments (including specific learning disorders), ADHD and Autism assessments, and mental health assessments.
Declan is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and has experience running Triple P, Emotion Coaching and Tuning into Kids parenting programs. He aims to work in a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental manner that honours each individual’s strengths, values and goals.
